American Library Association Annual Show is filling up in Chicago for June 22 – 27, 2017
Hotels are booking up in Chicago for the Annual ALA Convention. Reports have over 8,100 registrants compared to this time last year for Orlando and just over 6,700. The majority of the conference will take place in McCormick Place West but there are also some sessions at various hotels, depending on the unit sponsoring them. On-line registration with discounted rates closes June 13. After that, rates are at full price and only available at the show. Students receive a $100 discount off the registration fees if they register online in advance. McCormick Place will only allow hotel room reservations for those registered for the show, so get your registration in and book those rooms.
